They think you’ve got so many

But many is an irony for who’s really there

On the other side you stare at blank screens

Hoping and waiting to just get “seen”

You’re going through turmoil and darkness

Who could even tell when you’ve got no witness

The phone, a cage

Your account, just a page

To splash your dreams on numb ears

Social is what it’s called

But it’s just a media for life withdrawal

Stand up, stretch

“Who cares,you care!!”

Should be the slogan you say

Don’t dig yourself a pit

Because of blank screens and meaningless time
